Photography to me is more than just posing and smiling at the camera. In fact I always encourage you to do the opposite when we work together. Look at each other. Look around you. Soak in the moment. Be present. That's really what matters at the end of the day. Spending time with someone you love in a place that you love. Those are the moments that are fleeting that deserve to be remembered.

My work focuses on storytelling at it's most innate form — the real, peeled back, deep soul kind of stuff. I believe true beauty is found in the simplicity of genuine moments. Sipping coffee together the morning of your wedding day, sharing cake with your dad on the dance floor, shots with your childhood friends before the night ends - however it is you want to celebrate, do it. There are no rules. As long as it's true to you, I'm all in.

I fell in love with photography because of my parents. They loved documenting everything as a new immigrants to this country, and through their photos I will always have keepsakes from my life to look back upon. Seeing them photograph their lives and surroundings made me want to document life. Being able to take photos that you can look back on in 10, 20, 50 years and remember what you were like in that moment. Photos that spark conversation. Photos that remember loved ones. Photos that celebrate life.

I photograph on both analog & digital formats and am based in SF but willing to travel to wherever your story takes you.

When I'm not photographing, you'll find me with my husband & kids, near the ocean, matcha in hand, and reading a good book.
